About Me
I graduated from Hunter College, NY in 2012 with a M.S. in Rehabilitation Counseling and obtained a National Certification as Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC). I have postgraduate studies from Capella University, MI in 2013, studying mental health. In 2016, I obtained full licensure as a License Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in New York and obtain NYS (OASAS) Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC-2). As a CASAC-2, I am approved to provide clinical screenings, assessments and treatment to Impaired Driving Offenders. I have Cognitive Behavioral Therapy training from the Beck Institute, basic CBT and specializing in depression and anxiety. I have over 60 hours of training in the field of problem gambling, and I am part of Problem Gambling New York State Resource Center.
